Guesthouse Brekka provided a mind-blowing experience with its comfy beds, super hosts and staff, and excellent breakfast. The clean and large room, along with the nice living room, dining area, and free wi-fi, added to the jaw-dropping experience. The in-house restaurant offered a great dining option, and the laundry facility was a convenient addition. With free parking, a flat-screen TV, and an electric kettle, our stay was absolutely fantastic. Additionally, the location provided various outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and skiing. The board games and the bar/lounge area were perfect for socializing. It is also worth mentioning that both pets and smoking were not allowed on site. our stay at Guesthouse Brekka was simply amazing!

We were blown away by this place! The house was incredibly comfortable for our group of 5, with a jaw-dropping kitchen and living room area. The bedrooms were super cozy and the shower was fantastic. The location was perfect, situated between two amazing towns. Parking was a breeze. The reception greeted us with hot drinks and sweets, and the breakfast was mind-blowing. The on-site restaurant was a pleasant surprise, especially since we didn't have a kitchen. Plus, the owner's dachshund was adorable for dog people like us. The lounge area with the weather report chalkboard was a nice touch. Our cabins were detached and camp-style but had great sound-proofing and a clean shower. The updated facilities were top-notch. And let's not forget the opportunity to see the Northern Lights! We absolutely loved our stay and wished we had stayed longer. Kudos to the amazing staff for their attention to detail and the incredible food. Definitely one of the best places we've stayed in Iceland. Thank you, team!

Guesthouse Brekka is an ideal and nice little hotel set in a peaceful area, adjacent to the valley, with sightseeing, shopping, and restaurants in locations nearby. The breakfast was absolutely superb and very good, with a variety of cheese and yogurts to choose from.

Employees spoke English well, offered helpful advice. Upgraded room due to storm, allowed us to stay in shared living room. Helped with cancellation and gave discounted night. Good breakfast and free coffee/tea. Highly recommended.
